Game On! Decisions Decisions.....So I'll be in Chicago next week....while the Packers and the Vikings share the spotlight on Monday Night Football.
Wow! Who will Chicago root for in THAT match up? It should be an interesting place to be! Of course the
Bears will play one more game before then, but with the Vikings currently up 3 - 0 you'd think the Bears fans would naturally
have to root against them. After all, if the Bears are at 3 - 1 and the Vikings lose, then the Bears are on top.
But that means....drum roll please... rooting FOR the Packers??????? Is that POSSIBLE for a Bears fan? But to
root FOR the Vikings means either rooting for a tie leading the division (3-1 each) or even the Vikings leading if the Bears
lose on Sunday. I wish all decisions could be simple, yet it seems most decisions are much like the one described above:
Damned if you do, and damned if you don't! Who to trust? What to say? All convoluted in emotion and
rational perspectives. So then perhaps the only way to make a decision is to go with whom you trust, and stick with
whom you are most loyal to. Look at the character of the team, or person, behind your decision, then move in the direction
most likely to keep you happy and safe. As I like to say: "Friends Are Rare, Handle With Care!" XO Wendy

Normal....I was writing to a friend and mentally reflecting on the suddenly cooler weather, the changing leaves, and the sense of
"normal" that I somehow feel when fall hits each year. It's like somehow after that last three day holiday
of the year (Thanksgiving is four, Chirstmas is unpredictable) things click back into a pace that is more predictable, maybe
even easier in a way. Of course there is a ton of work to be done. Suddenly we're almost in the "last quarter"
for year ends that end the end of the year. Suddenly the plans for Chirstmas must be made. Summer clothes must
be put away, but with that is the joy of discovering how wonderful a sweater feels again. I wonder how much of this
sense of "normal" is ingrained in most of us by our school years. Oddly I found it hard to sleep Monday night...
no explaination. But on Tuesday a business owner I was talking to mentioned that her children had kept her up most of
the night with school jitters. In that case, maybe I'm not the only one feeling sleep deprived, LOL! At any rate,
normal is a good feeling for me. One of the highest compliments I receive is that I am so "normal".
I don't have a wacked out life, or drama always going on. I keep things simple, clean, and comfortable. I cherish
normal, and invite you to experience my normal life for a little while too! XO Wendy
