IQ BloggingIt's the way I'm made: I am cocnerned about the impression I make on other people. The upside of this is that I
am always striving to make sure that it is a POSITIVE impression! But I would NOT need any fingers AT ALL to count the
number of times people have written to call me a bitch, or complain about me, so I guess I'm doing ok. In fact, I recently
received a note which I added to my "comments" page today. Someone once commented on
my blogs while we were out to dinner. I never got out of him exactly what he thinks of them but it might have been that
he finds them funny, or dumb, or smart. Does it seem odd that I can't tell? He definitely seemed amused at what
I write, but I really could not tell in what way. So I took an IQ test (Try this:
google "minute IQ test" and lots of options will pop up. Take your pick of free tests ranging from 10 minutes
to however much time you have to spare!). It turned out I'm fairly qualified, even on three hours sleep to say I'm more
than relatively smart. Well, at least as far as that IQ test can tell, anyway! Let's just say that Malcom Gladwell
would say I am in the group most likely to succeed, IF I have the other factors (family, education, drive, ambition, luck
etc etc) that great success also requires. I guess ultimately this really doesn't tell me how
to interpret my friend's amusement. He is an incredibly smart person, too, and maybe he just finds the things I think
about to be funny things to think about. In the scope of the Four Agreements I "don't take it personally"
but I have a curious mind, and I am always intrigued to understand others...and myself. I don't think I'm unique in
this desire, though I know many people who "don't give a damn what others think" as well. It takes all types!

Whatever???Hi! Yes I know it's been forever since I blogged... I don't MEAN to be bad, I've just been BUSY!!! I think
about things I'd love to write/blog about but then... I never have/take the time to actually log in and DO it. So now
I'll write down a small hodge-podge of thoughts. I saw an interesting re-run of a HOUSE episode where a woman was a
blogger and when asked what type of heart valve she wanted (pig or plastic) she immediately reached for her computer
to ask her readers what they thought, though her husband was sitting right THERE and the decision also affected their
ability to have children EVER. Ouch. Blogging is an interesting phenomena... diaries are private, personal thoughts
that we write down for ourselves to probably never be read by anyone else. Blogging? Private personal thoughts
we write down for ANYONE AT ALL to read. It's really quite odd. I also found an interesting artilce on Yahoo about
things NOT to say at work, and why. I'm sure you can google the whole thing if you are interested (LOL....did I really
just write google??? Google yahoo??) but a couple of points stood out: DON'T use the words "Try" and
"Whatever". To quote the article which quoted "Yoda" "Do, or do not. There is no Try."
I love that. I live by that. At least I "try" to!!!! ;-) As for "Whatever"
for all you "Whatever-ers" out there: "This word is a trusted favorite of people who want to dismiss
you, diminish what you say, or get rid of you quickly. "Whatever," they will say as an all-purpose response to
your earnest request. It's an insult and a verbal slap in the face." Yowzer. Careful with that one!!! Let's
see, what else has been on my mind. Comments: I can't really access them. If you like something I write,
please feel free to email me. Thoughts on books, movies, life....set up an appointment and talk about it! I'm
even more fun in person than on this blog!!!! Kisses.... XO Wendy
